Strength & Conditioning is a fitness training approach that aims to enhance performance, increase strength, and optimise overall physical function. At Movement Essentials, we adopt the principles of Long Term (Athlete) Development (LTAD), which is a comprehensive approach that considers the holistic person (physical, mental and emotional needs), focusing on long term habitual development of mvoement to support physical development at all stages of growth. It involves a combination of strength training, which aims to increase muscle strength and power, and conditioning, which enhances cardiovascular fitness, endurance, flexibility, and overall physical conditioning.
