Abby joined the Movement Essentials team in 2022, with a history of training here as a part of our ME4SPORT program, and like many others -- a young netballer chasing sporting dreams whilst balancing the art of life.

A current Premier League netball athlete, and year 11 student focused on her grades as well. Her addition to our Client Services Team ideally will grow into larger and more senior roles as she navigates through the end stages of high school life and beyond.

Alana is an extremely passionate Physiotherapist with a key interest in neck and back pain. Alana thrives on movement re-training as a central tool for assisting with pain. It is therefore often that you can find Alana in our ME Pilates Studio, utilising our Reformer and Trapeze equipment to help clients learn and restore pain-free and functional movement patterns. She has developed a keen interest in the hypermobile clientele and enjoys the constant learning and exploring that life as a Physiotherapist brings.

Whilst she chases her elite netball sporting dreams and completes her studies in wellbeing coaching, Courtney leads the operations of our ME Training Zone. Here she can be found on the ground coaching clients in the gym, managing the administration and marketing of our gym services as well as mentoring and leading our staff to ensure smooth operations of our ME Training Zone and it's services

Founder & Chief Physiotherapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach

The chief of Movement Essentials Physio Dept. Kevin is a highly experienced and humble Physiotherapist with a key interest in chronic pain, work-related injuries and shoulder pain. As an avid Jiu Jitsu student, he also enjoys treating and managing injuries suffered from martial arts participation. He leverages his knowledge in exercise prescription and manual therapy to provide a combined approach to helping others, help themselves. He has the ability to connect with a wide range of ages and client types, and is known for his gentle approach with the older generation as well as his practical approach with the 'dads' and 'tradies' of the community.

In his down time, he loves his time with his kids, playing with the family German Shepherd and his return to the Jiu Jitsu mats -- something he now can share with his kids.

Michelle is who will greet you at the front desk, if you are attending appointments during school hours. A local mum of 3 kids, she helps Van balance out a 2nd 'mum' approach to the team and keeps the Client Services team in check. Her smiling and welcoming face at the front, keeps our clients comfortable and ensures a smooth transition from our clinical team, to the administrative components of your visit at Movement Essentials.

Rose joined Movement Essentials in 2021, amidst the COVID pandemic. She has stamped her foot in our team as a young, but confident young adult, navigating the transition from teen life towards adult life. By the end of 2021, whilst balancing school life, Rose also completed her Diploma in Strength & Conditioning. We are excited to expand her employment from the Client Services team, to add Strength & Conditioning coaching to her repertoire

Tiana is a highly motivated Physiotherapist with a key interest in sporting injuries, especially knee pain. An avid gym-goer and sports fanatic, Tiana is often seen utilising our strength gym to help her clients return to their love of sport and exercise. Tiana is also a part of the Tonga TALA international netball team, as a member of their Physiotherapy team - here she looks after not only their physiotherapy needs, but strength & conditioning testing and programming as well. Tiana also is highly experienced in Pilates instruction and combines her passion for movement with her manual therapy skills to provide individual and tailored care to each of her clients.

Van is the matriarch of Movement Essentials & oversees each area of growth and development. A highly experienced and skilled Physiotherapist and business operator, with a deep passion for problem-solving.
Van can be found across all areas of Movement Essentials, providing consultant Physiotherapy services, mentoring her staff and overseeing all aspects of business operations.
Whilst she has taken a step back in regular service delivery, her current clinical focus is  in exploring, learning, helping and guiding an often misunderstood and overlooked group of conditions - Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder and related conditions such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. She aims to take a holistic approach, connect a team of professionals who can work together to improve the quality of life for those living with hypermobility-based conditions
